Default PWSC Idle kit?

I think I've seen somebody mention a time or two that you guys have a set of parts to help the idle on the PWSC. Is that true? I didn't see any info on it last time I checked your site nor any mention here. If so, what's the scoop on it? If there isn't such a kit then I'll try to get a FC/CFM TB to get the idle to behave I guess.

Yes, we do make such a kit. We finished the instructions and got the last of what we needed to construct them, so look for a product release this week.

Sounds good. I'll hold off on ordering a TB until I see what you guys have to offer.

It is to fix stalling when coming to a stop, and also the hanging issues while coming to a stop.

Give us a call if you need more details.

Sorry, couldn't resist... Impatiently waiting details to be posted.

I didn't even know there was a "fix" beyond what was outlined in the PW manual.

Please post when available and/or send me a PM if possible!

Shot you a PM with a question about this. Sounds like a required fix for me this winter. Hopefully, it'll be a short list of winter adjustments this year.

We are having trouble with one of our picture hosts so posing pics lately has been an issue...

We should have more info later this week.

Anything to share yet? I'm getting frustrated with the on-going idle issues, car stalling in traffic, etc. and I know one way to take care of them. I'm just hoping to see something on your option before spending the money on something else to try to fix it.

Its essentially a rerouted larger IAC passage and upgraded IAC motor. The as cast IA passage in the PW is just to small to support idle.

Should run $150ish. Most of the cars we put them on have their idle issue cured with install and some fiddling with the idle screw on the TB, but there may be some cars out there that might require a retune, not 100% on this yet.

Thanks for adding some info. Retune? Hmmm. Would be nice to avoid that. I have an XCal2, but doesn't altering the tune void the warranty?

I'm still on my first. It has about 115k on it, the last thousand or so with the PWSC. I wonder if a new IAC would fix my issues.

Anything more on this yet? I would love to have my idle issues solved. I have gotten pretty good at avoiding the stalls tho through shifting to neutral and idleing to a stop...but...that is unavoidable sometimes.

I've got that PLUS I sometimes get the revs sticking where I have to blip the throttle to get them to come down. Doesn't work so well with the cruise control.

Powerworks Was screwed by bbk. BBk designed their throttle body with a single tiny 10mm hole for the air bypass. The inlet to the iac on the neck of the blower ws designed to match the bbk, and is a single 10mm passageway as well. Definetly not sufficient.

So when will this be available???

Also - Has anyone noticed that their car runs better while the air condition is on? Obviously performance suffers, however, my car seems to idle much better when on.
