This seems to be the lowest priced replacement rear mount on the market...how difficult is this part to install? I have a short shift kit on the way and would like to do the rear mount as well. Thanks!!

Should be a 20 minute install. Easy as pie.

But, someone needs to try to break one. That is the fun part.

I've seen a transmission snap the mounting ears where the lower mount connects using the stock mount. Has anyone noticed any increased stress or wear on the transmission using a mount this stiff compared stock or even the VF/MAC?

I have broken the stock bushings, the MAC bushings out and now the VF bushing have broken out of my current mount so I am going to get one of these next and see how it lasts.
No signs of wear on trans or subframe.

Thanks tparker. If there's no wear on your can then I'm pretty sure I'll be fine.

We've had somewhere between 400-600 clutch-dump launches on our FSP car with 275 Hoosier tires, and the first failure was an axle.... so I think this puppy will last.

Hey guys at massive, I just installed my new mount that I got from you. It was on back order so I had to wait a week or so. Anyways You may want to check the new batch you received. I was having a really hard time getting the tranny side of the mount in, so after pulling it back out I attempted to slide just that end into the tranny side and the metal spacer in the bushing was a bit to big. I had to press out that spacer and grind about 1/16in off for it to slide in place.
Just thought Id let you know so you cant check what you have in stock to be sure someone else doesn't have the same issues

I've had mine for about six months now...
The motor vibrates all of my interior loose at idle (ESPECIALLY with the a/c on), but I love it. The 1-2 shift at high rpm is actually all fun now, rather than wondering if I slammed the block into the firewall again. It's really stiff. It's also at least 30 bucks cheaper than any other option you have, so it was a no-brainer for me, extra vibes or not... I almost never use my a/c anyway. It's the 8th of June and it's barely reaching 70 degrees here . I love southern California...
