Okay, when my oil cap fell apart in pieces and I went to the hardware store to get a new one, I gave him my info and he gave me a screw in type. It didn't fit. I took it back and got one that looks just like the one you're making for the Duratecs. Believe me, I don't have a Duratec.

Do you have a side picture of the Zetec caps like the one you took for the Duratec?

I want one so bad just want to get this cleared up first. I'm not the most car savy person in the world I'll admit. I'm kinda half tarded.

The machining is complete, they are being anodized as we speak.

They came back about 2-3 weeks ago and I was unhappy with the finish/color. Sent them back to be stripped and re anodized and Im still unhappy. Not sure what we are going to do as of right now or the remedy our vendor will offer us...

They dont look "bad", just not the same as the other products we sell in that color... And its got out name on it, so it should reflect only the finest quality. Its more of a "matte finish". The lousy part is once an item is anodized, stripped and re doing them can only change the finish slightly, and they've already attempted. So these are essentially the way they will be no matter what. If It didnt make as many as we did, I'd consider pitching them, but we made quite a few. These are such a "jewelry" item... I dunno.

I've pictured the other style caps on the left in this photo to illustrate the difference. What do you guys think?

Yeah, those do not have the "shine" that they should. If that's what this batch is gonna look like I might have to hold off on a few things before I get to working on the engine bay beautifications.

the "matte finish" doesn't look to bad. I do like the shine finish more. You could always sell those ones as a matte finish and get another batch in that is done with the shine finish and give the customers an option. Thats just me though.
