    Hey

I was just reading a thread where you mentioned your FRPP kit, with a picture of your svt. Just wondering if you had a side picture of your car, I'm looking into getting that kit. Just been reading about it, I don't know wether to grab the Roush Stage 1 Performance kit (4 spring, 2 front struts, 1.75" drop all around= $494 +ship) or the FRPP kit. You said it drops 1.5" I think? How much did that cost you from Steve and what all came in the kit? I wanted to get a 2" drop but I'm staying away from the Eibach Sportlines and I'm on a student budget.

Thanks for the help, never dealt with the suspension before.

I did run into one issue on both headlights. About 3/4 of the way down the page on the last connection that you take off be very careful. It's on the part that looks kinda like a half moon with an orang and black wire in it. I had a he'll of a time remove and replacing the wires. Ended up breaking three of the four connectors while doing this. They are really small and flimsy so they bend and break easily. I just soldered them back together and everything works fine.

A couple other tips is to really scuff up the plastic that you will be pairing with a steel wool pad to make sure the paint sticks. Also it helps to have smaller hands cause I scratched and cut the he'll out of my hand doing this.

All in all Im really pleased with the way it turned out. Now I really need to restore the headlights because it really show the scratches and the haze afterwards.

I used Peloton25's write up, but I had to use this link since the pictures were no longer up. http://cayse.trunetworks.com/focus/paintedhids.doc

It goes step by step so it helps tremendously. If you follow that you really shouldn't have any issues. It just very time consuming the first one you do. I was the exactly the same way as you though. I did not want to screw anything up and have to buy new headlights.

    Hi,
I dug up a thread about camber bolts and I read that you installed them on an SVT. I'm wondering how you mounted the camber bolts with the e-brake cable bracket.

    Thanks,
    Chris

Hi, I'm new to this, and as I'm going over these threads (you guys are full of useful info about SVT and such) but I do come across of this "Steve guy from Tousley". I wouldn't mind contacting him, but could you help me out and let me know how to get a hold of him. I live in Minneapolis and I'm in a need of new thermostat housing - so, I'd like to get it from him instead of CFM (according to few of you, he's the first one that figured it out, so he gets the credit) or do you know the actual part#? Thanks in advance for you help/advice! I really appreciate what few of you are doing for the rest of us - Amel

I read your post about replacing the 9006 HU, I wondered if you used the ASWC to retain your steering controls. I was trying to find confirmation that it had worked for the focus. In addition, what did you use to connect the sub? Differential converter? Thanks in advance
