    Default Rear Seat removal question

I am thinking of taking my rear seats out for an event this weekend to save a few pounds on the car and I was wondering how hard it is to do so and how much work would be needed to put them back in after the event is complete.

It is a lot hatder the first time. But it is still not too bad. A lot of the bolts are pretty tight though so it takes some effort to get em out. They will go back in in like 30 minutes or so maybe a little more if you remove all the brackets too

There is the screws in the front, those hold down the butt piece. The backrest just fold down, and there are 2 screws on eash hinge. Its pretty easy.

the screws holding the back piece in place are kinda tough to get to. takes some persuasion but it is pretty easy.

PB blaster is your friend here! Once you know what you are doing, should take about 15 mins from beginning to end. I did a whole interior swap in about an hour. Including the panels.

To remove the bolts holding the seat brackets to the floor, first remove bolts from seat backs, lower bottom both sides of both seats, you can feel the bolts through the fabric covering them, then you have no problem accessing the bolts on the floor.
