Default Oil drain plug on a 2008 Ford Focus 4 cyl

Where is the oil drain plug on a 2008 Ford Focus? I would like to change the oil and cannot seem to find it.

(assuming they didn't change anything; I doubt they did) It is on the back of the oilpan. If you get underneath your car, you'll see the oil filter in the front, and on the opposite side of the oil pan will be the drain plug.

You didn't get any free maintenance with your car? I did.

The Ford Focus, the 2.0 L engine at least, as I was told by a mechanic at a Ford Dealership... is not entirely the same from 2008 on. I was told that they changed the from a belt drive OHC to a chain driven system.

All North American Duratecs use a timing chain and they always have.

The Zetec uses a timing belt but they stopped putting that engine in the Focus in 2004.
