    Default squeaky steering

I get a squeaking noise from the steering wheel/column when I make tight turns at low speed. I haven't been able to pinpoint the source of the noise, and while I doubt it is anything serious I'd still like it to go away. Anyone have any idea what might be causing the noise?

There's contacts for the turn signals and such that are in the steering column. That's likely what's making the noise. Try moving the steering wheel while the car is at rest with the climate control and stereo off - it's likely going to be audible then as well.

You will need to remove the steering wheel to replace these contacts. That includes the air bag. It was never worth it to me to fix.
