    Default 2001 ford focus stalling

I have a Y 2001 1.6 ford focus hatchback, just the other day, the car started to stall on acceleration and continues to do so. I am getting no engine warning light and wondered if anyone could point me in the right direction to resolve this fault.

When you say stall do you mean the car dies while accelerating? Start by checking air and fuel filters.

Does it idle normally, and only happen when you try to accelerate? It sounds to me like it could be the fuel pump.
