    Default 2002 focus overheating

Hi, my 2002 focus is overheating in weird intervals. It starts after about 20/25 minutes of driving when I come to a stop at traffic light; though sometimes it happens when Im driving on the highway doing upwards of 65mph.
I have replaced my thermostat, my coolant is filled to the max line when the engine is hot, my fans are working as I can hear them from inside the car when i watch my temperature gauge creep up. It doesnt go all the way over, it falls just short of the red. Sometimes it gets a kick and goes down a little bit on its own. When i accelerate it goes back to just under half at which point I can hear the fans turn off. There is no leaking of coolant or any other fluids from my engine. I have taken care of it in every way until this fiasco. Please help, I have no idea wtf is wrong with my car. I was thinking maybe a waterpump?

Could be that or the radiator is going bad. How many miles are on the car?

That's not really a lot of miles, but the radiator could still be going bad. How does the coolant look? Is it clean and clear or is it dirty and brown?

Pump, higher revs means what little is working pushes more coolant lowering temps.
