I'll have my pics from Sandblast up soon.

Jdiaz, I would recommend starting a new thread since we have our own Rally Spec Focus forum section now. Lots of money and time is a good start to becoming a rally driver

Here we are cutting up the golf course at Rally New York earlier this year. And, yes, it was an "unexpected excursion". Apparently it cost $300 to repair the damage we did to the golf course.

Ok you may have to redo that before the car becomes a rally car, especially if you want to race in a rally-america event. They have outlawed aluminum rivits for use in attaching roof openings. Steel only. They also require that the sunroof plug be made out of steel since they consider fiberglass "cloth".

I don't think NASA has formally listed a position on fiberglass sunroof plugs so you might want to talk with a tech inspector. Best place to find them is at a rally.

Good to know, Thanks. ill make a steel one. But i might not run spec im thinking about running M2 cuz its cheaper to set the car up and run it. Even though ill lose ill still be having fun!

Umm, not really sure how you get to M2 being cheaper, You can't get much closer to a stock focus than my car was over the last year and I was able to be competitive in spec focus but would have gotten my butt kicked in M2.

Remember a lot of spec parts are optional starting out. Maybe start a new thread about this or post on the RSF listserv and we can discuss further.
