Hello Matt,

Glad to see another car getting setup for the Rally Spec Focus series. I have answered your questions below.

Roll Cage that is approved, where do i find it, and how muchish?

Most roll cages are custom built. You need to build it to the NASA GRR which can be found at www.nasarallysport.com. Where are you located? The best way to do it is to talk with the guy who will be inspecting the cage and make sure your design is up to

Racetech seats, What models are approved??

Any of the Racetech seats that are FIA approved,

So you can order a RT 1000 Series, RT 4000 Series, or RT 9000 Series. The price and features go up with the numbers. I run a RT 4009 HNTW. Which is the one with side bolsters for your head and is a little wider than the base seat.

Racetech Harnesses, What are approved??

Any of the 5 or 6 point FIA Harnesses. I am running the 6 point. The advantage to FIA belts is that the last longer between expiration times that SFI belts.

and are there any other manditory parts?

Yes, You still need to run:
- Ford Rally Brake kit
- Team Dynamics Pro-Rally Rims
- Hankook R 201 tires

A parts wavier has been added to the 2008 rules so if you already have a bunch of this stuff but not quite the spec you can apply to get it waived.

There are also several required parts for any rally car that are in the GRR not the spec focus rules. Like, fire extinguishers, spill kit, first aid kit, triangles, etc.

Ive read the rules tons of times and im a bit confused..

Keep asking questions, the more specific the question the better the responses will probably be.
