Default OEM motor mounts

Alright, went the cheap route and am paying the price. Brand new motor mount, passenger side, black plastic with some oil broke or came off during light weight shakedown. Race is saturday morning. Is this a critical component or is the oil meant for long term hydration of the bushing? Anyone know if this will affect the short term performance of the motor mount? (One rally?)

Any input? Thanks.

Hydraulic mount. Fluid leaking means it is GONE.

Sorry, but it is toast. Hope it came w/warranty.

It is a hydraulic mount. But it will still function with out the fluid. Since there is a big grade 8 bolt that runs through the center of the mount. Without the fluid it will allow the motor to move more freely but it will keep the motor in the car.

It would be best to replace it but if it was the difference between running and not running the rally I would still run the race. Just pay attention to it at services.

Thanks guys. We almost had to drive 5 hrs. round trip to get another motor mount but were able to find a replacement locally. I'll be investing in a set of solid mounts asap. Well, we're off to the race!
