Spec Car Pt 2 - Focaljet

More updates of the build. Part one was mainly interior, but now it's time for the real fun stuff...

And the new toy... Gotta get the car to the track somehow

So the suspension is almost apart. I've got the front control arms at the shop getting the bushing replaced. The rear suspension should be apart and shipped off to the shop by next monday. I'm still having a problem finding bushings for the rear shocks. Any suggestions are appreciated. I plan on calling Ford Racing and bitching tomorrow. And yes, for all you "Show and Go" guys, the car will be completely degreased and cleaned before I put it back together. I cringed the first time I looked at the picture of the engine compartment too :embarassed:

Even More Crap...

I'm cutting the F'rs out Monday and shipping it off to the shop to get blasted, inspected and powder coated. Same goes for the rest of the suspension parts.

Update 1/22/06

Good weekend! Got the A/C unit removed thanks to my good friend Steve and managed to get the Exhaust and left over tar paper removed from the cab. I cut the LCA's out at work last week and have sent the rear suspension parts out to get reconed and new poly bushings pressed into them (Thanks Rob

I haven't been pulled over since January 1993, and that was for an expired NY state inspection. 2001 Twilight Blue ZX3 - XIOS turbo kit, HMS-built trans, etc.
