Will we be able to substitute motor mounts? I find the stockers get quite soft with heat and if you intend to run these cars in enduros, that could be a liability.

Also, those a FRPP heads with stage 3 cams on the Zetec Motor. Which we didn't have during our test car at Willow Springs and Buttonwillow. We should pick-up more power with these new heads and cams.

Take a look at the front of the valvecover right where it meets the head. Notice how it is wet? With possibly oil?

Mine looked like that for about 20k miles. Actually, once during those miles I noticed that one of the valve cover screws was finger tight.

Then one day, all of a sudden, the thing just started leaking like crazy with oil all over my underhood. When I pulled the valve cover to replace the gasket (75k on the odometer), the entire gasket had hardened. The old gasket was about as hard as the valvecover itself.

Anyway, it might not even be an oil leak, or you may have already fixed and/or noticed it. Just thought I'd give a heads up. Since the 20 minutes it takes to replace the gasket is definately worth it rather than having it start spewing oil while on track.

As always, keep up the good work.

The head was just changed, and the gasket is new. It was just left over from the changed. I hadn't cleaned it up. But, as you can see it's not on the head at all... it's only on the valvecover.

Also, it doesn't look as bad as the photo shows.

But, it is a good idea for people to check that.

I bet. By the way, I didn't build the car. It was built by F2 Motorsports.

Because of how awesome the cage probably is, I have a feeling that pictures of the full cage would shatter the internet and create a black hole. You don't want that to happen now do you?

Can we put an anti-awesomeness filter on it so that I can see the pics? I've been thinking of a new cage, and I'd like to see it.... I've even bought filtered awesomeness goggles. I'm set!

Edit: I see that this is a different vehicle from your other car...never mind about that trailering question...

Yeah, it's a different car then the car I drove to the track for Time Trails. I don't have any pics of the 235/40-17s.

LOL, trying to keep a street car look...LOL

Otherwise I would have two holes there. But I am going to put a Tach inside the one of the vents.

Will do. Those the pictures of your car trackside at the end-of-season enduro event awhile ago?
