Default 2.0l Duratec - competitive?

Due to some unforseen issues with my current vehicle I am now looking towards another Focus to use as my daily driver, weekend autocrosser, and future SpecFocus.

One cannot deny that a new ZX3 S is one hell of a deal AND I can get it optioned how I want to make it my ideal "race car" for the future (i.e. crank windows, no ABS/TC, etc). I think this car would be fantastic in auto-x, however I'm a bit concerned on how it would fair in Spec Focus.

Per the rules, the 2.0l Duratec is locked into the same rules as its bigger brother...with one exception: an FRPP cylinder head. From what I understand the Ford Racing head isn't out yet and won't be out for quite some time. I'm thinking the lack of a massaged cylinder head will make the 2.0l Duratec the worst of the group for power when compared to a stock SVT Zetec, stock 2.3l Duratec, and the regular Zetec with heads/cams.

If the FRPP head isn't out yet...how did you come to a decision on the rules for the 2.0l Duratec? If FRPP doesn't put this head into production, have you formulated any alternate plans for this motor?

By the way the FRPP CNC 2.0 Duratec head is in stock and available from LCR

It should work just as well as any other motor. All the motors will have pretty much the same HP.
I did see the new 2.0L Duratec Head. I believe you can get them now.

---edit----
Just saw Leo's post about the head. They are in stock now.

Well...I just took delivery of my 2007 ZX3 S in Cloud 9 White. Manual everything. Only option was A/C. Got her for $11,700 plus dealer fee & title/tag. Great little car. Build quality isn't all too hot compared to the prior years, but what other car can be this cheap and yet so much fun to drive?

She won't be running in Spec Focus anytime soon, but I plan on setting it up as if it were so I can become familiar with the vehicle's handling dynamics by the time I'm ready to go all out.
