Default NASA Series Changes

If you haven't notice. NASA has drop some of it’s Racing Classes. Like SER-Cup, Pro-7, Spec SRT, Gti Cup, and Renault Spec Racer. All those cars will be blended into Performance Touring Class.

NASA and Ford Racing are still committed towards the Spec Focus Series. We look forward in continuing to develop and the growth of the Series. We also look to add a Ford Focus Driving Program, that should be in place by Jetfest2.

There will be changes to the Performance Touring Class for 2007, Rules should be out soon.... NASA as also added Super Touring 1 and 2 Designed for Turbo Style Touring cars (like Evos, STi, and SRT cars).

That Focus driving Program sounds like an excellent idea. Can't wait for the new rules.

Isn't Ford Racing dropping the Spec Focus Suspension setup?

Nope. There's even a whole page in the new 2007 FRPP catalog that all about the Spec Focus Series and the Dynamic Suspension on page 180. The Dynamic Suspension wasn't suppost to be on the list. But, there were a few that did get the kit at a great price.

Once it's available. We'll add that as an option to the Spec Series. After talking to Toyo Race Engineers, They have a more Focus Friendly size then the RA-1s as well.

By "more focus friendly" do you mean a 225 or at least a 215?

One thing we're concern about the R888 is using under wet conditions. You still can use RA1 for rain tires, but once they discontinue them, we'll need to look at other tires for rain. Hopefully Toyo will come out with something. If not, we might have to add another tire for Rain usage only.
