Default What spare parts might I need at the track?

Putting together a list of spare parts and any Focus-specific special tools to bring to the track. As this will be my first outing, and I don't know what breaks on these cars - is there a list out there?

I'm assuming the usual sockets/wrenches/torque wrenches, and the usual track supplies (sunscreen, bug spray, post race beers, etc.), but as far as actual parts - any ideas?

Oil
Filter
Brake Pads F/R
F/R disks
Rain Tires
Axle
Brake Fluid
Pressure Bleeder
Strut
Shock

What else should I have? Hubs? Spindles? Fenders?

Well mainly Axles, Hubs, Spindles and Axle Grease.

Bring extra studs and lugs. You also might want to change to ARP studs. The OEM studs break pretty easy. A extra master cylinder also.

Why stop at 4 or 5? ;-)

Both front and rear hubs? or just front?

Also - I should know this, but are the hubs/spindles unique to the 2005 cars? Also, any special tools needed to change them out?

Since we are on the subject of replacement parts. What about those who have the multimatic kit and blow a rear shock? Would they need that exact shock or what spare do you recomend.

Of some of the parts listed above, what have some of you broken and how many or how often?

That's the $1,000 question right now. I should know better in a week or so. I believe FRPP will have something for that.

Don't forget Serpentine belt. Nothing cheaper than that can ruin your day more if it breaks and you don't have one. Ditto on the master cyl. too, and on top of wheel studs, bring extra nuts.

Never while driving but I've snapped at least 3 up front and 2 in the back. I even snapped some of the H&R hardened lug studs. I finally got some anti-seize for my new APR studs.

I've snapped 1, and stripped about 3. This was all in changing out wheels and tires.

Trust me, do yourself the favor and invest in some lugs and studs.

Hell, a regular Ford wheelstud is like $1.77. I keep atleast 5 in my garage just in case.
