I had to make 2 trips to the dyno, the first session I ran of of injector. The stockers were tailing off at the top of the pull. The second session was much better, my tuner was able to nail down the A/F ratio.

I'm thinking he would have naturally put those figures in if he felt so inclined...and this car is for competition of course.

Or you can use it for a psychological advantaged.

You could say you have more HP then you really do, which could make people worry about their own.

Or

You could say you have less HP then you really do, which will make people wonder why you’re so fast

Or

You could tell them the actual HP, because people think you’re not telling the truth anyways and think you have more then what you really have.

maybe cause its a spec series, and i think the zetec has a big disadvantage, cubic inch, air flow, cyl heads, over the duratec engine..ranking in at about 160-170hp,150tq....

I take that to mean stone stock. Oil pan to valve cover, as it was from the factory. That looks like quite a decent dyno with pullies, a header, and an intake manifold.

Well, following a recipe similar to this:

http://forums.focaljet.com/cfm/55604...yno-zetec.html

Should net a pretty capable zetec. Changes required would be the FR head and cams, and 7200 rpm limit. The FR intake would also help the setup breathe.

I know that Evans Racing took the car I raced a Mid-Ohio in 2006, added all the Spec Parts and made around 160-165whp in his Zetec. They also believe they can get more out of it, but have keep it that way because they mainly use it Enduros.

Now, speaking of advantages and disadvantages... I have read that just about every motor we used has a disadvantage. So, I think we have it right now.
