I didn't mean to pass judgement it is just that from other replies it seems like Ted was still working on approving those while the site said it was. I'm starting in this series as well and that is why this kit is so appealing to me. Will edit my comment in previous past. If it is still available by the time I get my car I will probably end up with one.

For those who are just starting in the series, please wait until after the 2008 rules are posted before buying a new suspension, there could be changes including the suspension for 2008.
It’s also wise to ask people who are running in the series about different suspensions. Even though it looks cheaper out of the box, it still might not be the best buy because of faster tire and damper wear. So, you could save $300-$400 on the suspension, but might spend an extra $1000-$2000 on tire expenses because of extra tire wear. You also could find you’re not competitive plus spending more money on tires… Then you’ll have to spend more money to buy another suspension kit anyways. I’m not saying the Eibach is junk and I’m not saying you can’t buy it, but it’s simple not as good as the “Inverted” Strut designed of the Dynamic Suspension. The Eibach (and SVT) kit will not be as fast, and you will not have as good of tire wear then you will with the Dynamics. Sometimes the cheapest deal right out of the box might cost you more in the long run. I have tested all three kits on the track, and I can tell you none of the “Current” rule kits are as good as Dynamic dampers. Don’t underestimate the Inverted Strut, The Mustang Grand-Am cars have this Inverted Strut, so do many new high performance cars. Racer know this, this is one of reason in Performance Touring, that Inverted Struts cost more points then regular struts. Please do you home work first; look at the bigger picture as far as cost. Racing cost a lot of money and truthfully spending an extra $300-$400 more is really not that much in terms of racing, and please wait until after the 2008 rules are finished.

I agree that it may be a "rebadged" Eibach Kit, but I think it may be a little much (even for Ted) to say that it is race legal if all people are is "under the impression" that it's the same.
I don't think that's irrational. Like Ted or Leo said in this post to F2 on this thread, is there any official documentation that it's the same thing?

Quote:
The only documentation we have about the springs is what Massive claims in their website that says they are “custom progressive high rate springs from Saleen. Eibach has never claimed that that their Pro Kit has progressive springs. But, all of this is irrelevant because the 2008 rules are not out yet. Now, let us (the SF Advisor Board) go over the current rules and make changes we feel is best for 2008. homegrown2nr has submitted his Rule Request change and we need to go over this along with others. But the truth is; It doesn’t matter of it’s legal or not legal in 2007. Nobody is going to run this suspension in 2007 anyways. Bickering over what is legal in 2007 isn't going to do any good, So I would like everyone to stop it, otherwise I will have to lock the post.
