Default comp license

I see 2 mid ohio's before the nationals, would that be enough to get my comp license and qualify for the nationals?

How long have you been in HPDE 4?

You have to score points in 5 events to qualify for nationals, so if you mean 2 events = 4 races, no that would not qualify you for nationals.

I did a TT with them 2 years ago so I'd think I'd qualify for comp school. But I can't even find the comp school on the schedule.

We do have some waivers to allow few drivers at Nationals without meeting the required 5 races. So, get your Provisional and do a race weekend and we can talk about it. We do have some latitude here.

The comp school is mid Ohio's special school run on a friday before the NASA race weekend at MO

NASA Great Lakes/ Mid West has a special arrangement with the MO school. You pass that special school and Dave will accept that as requirments for a provision licence. .....IF, you have sufficient HPDE 4 experience on your track resume. Be sure you have a resume to include with the school certificate, and your physical exam, and a check For ? ...was $60

All of this is not 100% written on stone like earlier messages from above.

Sign up for the School, Which would be July's MO weekend I would guess, then get as much HPDE 4/TT as you can before then, Putnam Park, Gratten, Nelson Ledges, BeveRun come to mind. ALSO, sign up to race that weekend in July.

Then you would have four races, including Aug MO , and would be a strong candidate for an "invitation" to partiacipate in the National Championship races.

Send me a MP if questions.
