Reserved Number Policy
The policy for reserved numbers is for one full year for car build up. If you car is not raced within the full year since you reserved the number your number is no longer reserved and is open for anyone to use.
Once the car is finished and you run one Regional Spec Focus Races you have the rights for that number for 2 years after your last race. If you run your number in Nationals you have the rights to that number for 3 years.
If you sell the car, you have the choice to keep the number with you or give it to the new owner.
Reserved numbers can be single or double digits. #01, #02 and etc are considered double digits numbers and can be reserved. Triple digit numbers cannot be reserved and they are available on first come first served basis.
The #1 will be granted to the winner of the previous years’ National Championship driver at NASA Nationals. The NC Driver can opt not to use that car number. If the car was a Rental then the owner of the car can opt to use the #01 for the follow year to recognized as the winning car owner.
NASA has the rights to change your number at Nationals if there’s a conflict with another car in another class in the Spec Focus Run Group. Car Numbers are available on a first come first served basis.
The winner of NASAs National Championship SF Race is allowed to use the #1 Number plated for the following season.
If the car was a rental, the owner of the car has the option to use the #01 plate on that Championship running car. This is an optional only and the winner is not obligated to use Championship number 1 Plate.
Remember all SF Number plates must be purchased from LC Racing at a price TBA.
^ Triple Digits Numbers can't be reserved.
