You shouldn't unless you have a really low suspension. That is the spec size for spec focus. It is also the stock SVT size tire, though I'd imagine the R888 is slighty wider than the ContiSport.

We have had no rubbing issues with our setups at all... That includes the new lower springs.

Craig Capaldi had one tire rub against the rear fender over the weekend at Grattan but a quick roll of the fender lip took care of it and I don't think he had any more problems. This was probably due to the fact that the suspension goes from one extreme to another and it just caught the edge. Chris Kisner also ran them on the back of his SVT with no problems.

i did roll the rear fender lip a little just for some insurance (after seeing what happened to craig). i don't think it was necessary since i'm running the eibach setup. i "think" craig is running the multimatics so his car might be a little lower than mine. plus he gets some air over the jump in turn 3 so that probably contributed to the rubbing. since it was my first time at grattan i couldn't work up the nerve to not tap the brakes before the jump at 3.

What? I can't believe that little jump at 100mph would give you any second thoughts.

Give me some toilet paper please, I tried Leo's advice ( stay in 4th through the right hander) and ended up with a three cycle tank slapper.

Yes, Chris K is correct. Takes some, you know what's, and Craig C got it, as he was really putting the hurt to us through this sequence.

I had some rub on the fender liner on drivers front - it's still installed to protect the CAI from spray.

Had some rear rub as well on the older multimatic springs (ST sedan) on really fast transitions. 10 minutes with a heat gun and mallet seems to have solved it. We'll see if the shorter springs are stiff enough to compensate in a few weeks.

The shorter springs seemed to be stiff enough for Lapp's car. We didn't have any rubbing with the R888s and the new springs.
