Is the car already built?

Also what kind of experience do you have that you are going to be able to go wheel to wheel in such a short time?

Can't wait to see it

F2 Silver 2003 Focus. I have had different on track experiences with Time Trails and such but non on Nasa Events. I will need to put a lot of effort into it. Beside I need to set my bar high so I can achieve something good even if I don't quite make it. But I do expect to be racing in 2009.

If you've got a fair amount of seat time - there's no reason why you couldn't talk to your region's chief instructor about running a comp school this year. That would give you a head start for a full schedule next year with no issues of getting shut out of some of the early season comp schools (they fill up fast). That will get you a couple of races under your belt, and set you up nicely for a full season next year...

Comp school will be the best money you've ever spent at the track, hands down.

^^ Very cool! I drive through Dayton on my way to Mid O. My parents live near Cincinnati, and I will be in Indianapolis next year.

and Matt is right, If you can swing it you may be able to run the comp school the Friday at Mid O in 2 weeks, then Race Saturday and sunday. I am not sure who exactly you need to contact though.

Sweet - 2009 looks to be a good year. You should also get some lexan transport windows.

Can you post up the spec sheet? For some reason, I thought this car had non-spec parts on it. Volvo brakes, correct? I don't think they are spec legal.

Brad,

I talked to Hector about the car a little already. He’ll get together with Leo and they can check the car out, but I believe the car was changed back to SF legal. But, there were some concerns with the Volvo Brakes, BS delete, modified strut towers and etc… But that’s what Leo was going to check out.

As of right now there are three things keeping me from being a complete spec focus...

Tires (I have RA1 because Ricardo still haven't received the R888)

Springs (I have a different spring because I haven't gotten the new Dynamic Springs although I believe I have Dynamic Dampers.)

Right Hand Safety Net (simply need to add one)

I'm looking over the CRR to make sure I Comply with all those rules as well. I believe I should be ok but just in case specially corncern with expiration dates on stuff (just want to make sure everything is up to date regarding CRR)

They should have them at Tech Inspection station at the track. Also, IO Port Racing has them. http://www.ioportracing.com/Merchant...ry_Code=Decals
