Default Dynamics Suspension question

I'm not running a Spec Focus or anything. I'm asking this on this forum because I know almost all of you are running Dynamics/Spec Springs on your Spec Focus.

I'm shopping around for a new suspension for my DD. I feel my current suspension is too short on tough, bumpy roads found in MD/DC area. It is also too soft for its ride height.

I'm looking for something more stiff with enough suspension travel for tough, bumpy roads . Is the dynamics suspension right for my car? If not, what are your suggestions?

I've run FRPP lowering springs and they were pretty good on bumpy roads but they were too soft for my taste. I'm currently running Eibach Sportline and wish I didn't switch. I've already sold my FRPP springs and I'm looking for something better.

Thanks.

Well if the FRPP Lowering Springs isn't stiff enough for you, then I would say the stiffer FRPP springs would be better.

What I would do is look around for the older Dynamic springs which came with the older kit. They are just as stiff as the current springs we're using, but they are longer springs which means the car doesn't sit as low and would give you some travel.

Look in the For Sale sections in FJ and see if you can find some. Some of our racers buy the older Dynamic Damper/Spring kit, but use the new springs and sell the old ones.

My car uses 06-up suspension. Are there older Dynamic springs for 06-up?

Ohh, You would then have to just get the newer Dynamic springs.
