Default Harness Suggestions

I just had a logbook issued for my car. I have a Corbeau 5pt that will expire in a few months. I'm looking to replace my harness with a G Force Racing 5pt camlock. Any suggestions?

If you're wearing a HANS, I would look to get an HANS friendly harness.

Great advice. Racetech actually offers HANS specific harnesses that are narrower over the HANS. I don't know if GForce has a setup like that or not.

Sparco has a hans spec belt system as well.

CCR specs the belts at 3". The Hans friendly harness is thinner?

CCR allows for the hans spec systems. I know several race cars that use them and have had no trouble getting their annual tech.

The hans belts are 3 inch except for the section that actually contacts the hans is 2 inch.

We use the Ford Racing/Sparco 6 point setup. The shoulder straps I believe are 2" rather than the regular 3". You will notice a huge difference in comfort with a HANS using the smaller belts.
