Baer Claw® Brake Systems are now available for Ford Focus applications!

Engineered for serious dynamic performance, Baer Claw® systems also make a dramatic statement behind today's open wheel designs.

TRACK Front System

The front TRACK System features 13" x 1.100" rotors with aluminum PBR twin piston calipers.

Front System includes:
•13" directionally curved vane rotors
•PBR two piston aluminum calipers with high metallic pads
•Teflon® linedStainless steel braided brake hoses
•6061-T6 billet aluminum brackets and fastening hardware

This is a direct bolt on for the Focus SVT and will fit any Focus that is fitted with the SVT spindles. Ford SVT spindles are available through any Ford Motorsport/SVT dealer and are sold under part #2M5Z 3K185AA left and #2M5Z3K186AA right, respectively. These can be purchased directly from Ford and retail for $125.45 each. Because the system is designed to be used on readily available SVT spindles, and because we supply the rear system with an aluminum rear hub, no core charges are required!

The front WILL NOT fit any less than 17"
but the rear should fit most 16" wheels. I checked their site and they currently don't have a template available for the Focus. I will find out and get back to you...

What do you have for the rear brake upgrade? I see the touring system, but it says for drum equipped systems only.

Doesn't the SVT have 4 wheel disc brakes? If it does, I don't see how the touring system would upgrade the rear brakes.

What am I missing?

I think that the baer kit is for other than the SVT. Like my wagon

Anyone got any updates on this?
I was about to buy FC's rebrake brake kit to upgrade from drums
but if this kit is worth going for I will just upgrade the drums, and buy some SVT spindles for the fronts.....

Todd does your system work using Stock FOcus parts front and rear(being hubs in the rear)

How much with the drilled and vented rotors for the front? Still just an additional $120/pair like the rear?

Also any idea how much these rotors weigh compared to the stock SVT rotors?

Ive been running this Tarox 6 pot kit now for three months and they are absolute quality.

They are fitted under my 7J 17" SuperL's and utilise a 330mm grooved disk, fast road pads and 6 pot calipers. The braking performance of the car is TOTALLY different to the std setup but there is still a great pedal feel. [img]images/icons/smile.gif[/img]

and the Corvette [img]images/icons/wink.gif[/img] ... They are great. they are made in Australia. I had the Baer "Track Kit" on my 5.0 Mustang. I had 13" frnt and 12" rear, they are really nice and Baer definitely knows there stuff.

then the rear? it's 995? but that's drum equipped foci? waht if i had enuf pieces. i think i might be able to get it from Juank yards and such?

I just got an e-mail response back. I have an SVT and wanted to know if their rear brakes would work on the SVT (since their kit says "for a drum brake system). Their response was:

... just talked to the rep about that. He said if you use the standard Focus knuckle for the rear it'll work. Still awaiting pricing, will get back to you
