Default ignition lock

i just wanna get a heads up to you all out there... i just had to have my car towed today to the dealership becuase my car wouldnt start... first it started when my key was being stubborn gettin into the key hole, then once finally in, it wouldnt turn.. and then i had to fight to get it out...

my father works at a ford dealership in the area so i called the guys and they sent someone out to look at my car. When he got there he took off the steering colomn and couldnt get it to turn over.

He told me that two other focus had come into the shop to get that part replaced... i think there might just be another recall on the horizon

as for now though, if you notice you are starting to have problems starting the car it might not be the steering wheel lock at all but the switch.. might want to take it in before it wont work at all and you have to get it towed

It happened to me a couple of months back. It took about a week to get a new tumbler for my car.

Last week, my steering wheel was locked and it took me almost 10 minutes to get my key turned to unlock it.
