Default Replacement Car

Hey everyone. If you read my previous topics I had problems with the steering/suspension with the car @ under 2,000 miles.

The dealer and an engineer from Ford on two separate occasions could not find the problem.

The word is they are going to replace my car - it has a little over 2,300 miles on it and is 5 months old.

I will post an update later in the week.

Hi Megz, The yellow street edition did catch my eye. However, I can't remember if it's automatic - I like standard, and it's about 2k more than my black sedan.

I still have to go through the process with signing paper work to the effect I am willing to accept a new replacement car.

Hey G-1, buy the Street Edition!...hopefully it's a standard. I picked up mine last week and I am loving it. I had a 99 Cougar before, but this thing is just great. The handling, ride, power, 6-CD, etc.
I think it's too late to order another one because they were only going to build them from January to March. There should still be some dealers that have them in stock.

I will be getting another sedan and I have been thinking about the street edition too(there's one out front of the dealership)and even the SVT.

The other thing is Ford stops production by mid to late July and August to retool the lines for the next model year. If I stick to my black and tan sedan, then more than likely it will have to be built and may be a 2002 model.

I told the dealer that I don't want a car that has been sitting around or has been used in some kind of demonstration however little it has been used.

The other thing is I don't want to spend any more money because I am trying to save as much as I can for a place to buy. So...
