Default Took my car in & this is what they said......

........I took it in for the stumbling idle and for the knocking in the tranny yesterday and it is still there. As far as the knocking they are going to replace several things( trans cable, throwout bearing, shift linkage)things that someone of you have gotten replaced before that still didn't cure the problem, o well its a FORD I guess. And as far as the idle problem , well they freaked out as soon as they saw my K&N filter and immediatly assumed that that was the problem. But you know what, they are right for once, since I relocated my battery to where the air box used to be, now my intake runs down the large openig that my battery left. It seems that the MAF just happens to sit right above the distributor and all that turbulance (from the engine shaking) somehow throws off the MAF once in a while, something Freddy pointed out the other day too.
