Default Seat creaking

I have a problem with my drivers seat in that in warm weather it continually creaks, has anyone experienced this problem and had it rectified?

i had same/similar problem but the temp did not matter. seat creeked in turns. took to dealer. they ordered a whole new frame/spring assembly and had one of the local uphostery/interior shops take care of it. creeking stopped for a few mo. now does it again.....

i think i might know what it is. take a look at the 2 front bolts holding the seat frame to floor. notice how the inside bolt is not covered up, but the outside one is. it's that outside cover. take it off. now it might not creek on you. (atleast this was the problem with mine.)

It seems to be coming from mechanism of the seat, as it sounds like a plasticky creak to me and that would follow that it's worse in warm weather when the plastic expands. It makes the noise whenever I move slightly in the seat, to change gear etc.

atmZX3 is probably right. I had the exact same problem until I took the bracket cover off. Silicone spray applied liberally to the plastic will also help temporarily.

Mine always creaked when I pushed or released the clutch. I then realized I could make it happen when I just rocked forward/back in the seat.
