Default I want my money back (ticking tranny)

Guys, the tranny noise makes me hate the car.
As some of you are saying it took all of the fun out of owning my first brand new car.
I went to different dealers numerous times with no results. All of them were saying either they can't hear it or other cars do the same thing. When I was buying the car the tranny was quiet as it's supposed to be in the modern car. After a couple of thousand of miles it started to develop the knocking sound. The technician claimed that it's normal and won't get worse. How does he know? When I asked how many cases they were dealing with the tech won't answer the question.
I'm getting comments from my coworkers. They wonder why my brand new car sounds "rough". A couple of them thought that Ford started to sell the Diesel Foci in America.
I'm so fed up with this crap. It became clear to me that FoMoCo and its dealers don't want to be bothered with the problem.
More than a month ago I filed out a Dispute Settlement Board Application. At least here in CA you must go through arbitration before invoking Lemon Law. My case will be heard next week. Therefore I would like to ask if any of you were successful or not in forcing FoMoCo to repurchase/replace your car with the help of Arbitration board/Lemon Law or without.
Any advice will be appreciated.

Vad, I'm sorry you feel this way! Hopefully everything will go your way!

As for this post, I'm moving it to the problems section.

HI JOHN! HOW ARE YOU DOING MAN! LONG TIME NO SEE! OH SORRY! LET ME TAKE MY HEADPHONES OFF...ok there that's better.

I agree, you shouldn't live with it. Our Cobra's transmission made a "click-kak" sound on really hard deceleration. Granted you couldn't hear it normally, but it is a sports car afterall. So after talking to the right people (naturally it was dismissed at first) we had the transmission completely replaced right before the warranty ran out.

Don't treat the dealers as your enemy. I know you are pissed at them and its hard to feel any other way. But always try to talk to the guy next higher up...and demand it if you have to. Try to work WITH them to solve the problem, but don't feel afraid to let them know what is and is not acceptable to you. If you still aren't satisfied you can take them to a small claims court after you have the problem diagnosed and witnessed by a third party "expert". They should either buy back the car from you with some depreciation for the mileage and provide you with a new one, or replace the transmission completely if they can't figure out what's wrong.

Oh~no! If the tranny in my car is ticking, you'd bet I will commission a few lawyers to leave some spanking marks on FoMoCo's butts!

Vad, as I stated before, if you want something to be done, you better act on it. Spilling your angers all over this board isn't going to help you anything.

WRCFan asked a good question, why don't you get the money or get rid of your car? Do yourself a favor, don't get into a Ford again. If I were you, I'd stay at least 10 feet away from any Ford on or off the street.

get a lawyer, go visit some more dealers, call up Ford customer service, and more could be done. Maybe you could bring your car in to a respectable shop (Other than Ford Quality Crap Service)for an investgation? Bring the result back to Ford and have them look into it? There are tons of ways to deal with an issue like yours. Just rely on one is quite risky. Pickup your feet and start doing some work. You got a lot of stuffs waiting for you to accomplish.

the 6148,
I researched my state Lemon Law quite a bit and followed its provisions.
Thanks for advice, anyway.
