I notice I got a crease on my hood... - Focaljet

...recall a post that has to do with this in the past but i would like to know how those ppl who handled this situation to the dealer. in other words, if you took the car to the dealer to have this "crease" thingie resolved, what did the dealer do?

I believe that was hocus focus... he said the dealer was going to replace the hood...I don't remember him updating and saying they actually had....

d'oh that sux cuz this "crease" looks really bad on my car and can be spotted from far away =(

ford better fix this and my gas mileage problem (140-160 miles on a full tank of gas!) or i'll begin singing "good-bye yellow brick road..." to the focus...grrr...

thats terrible gas mileage i get about 280-300 per full tank , the most i ever got was 380 w/ a full tank.
you know whats funny i came out of the gym in kona yesterday and noticed my hood is messed up too , it sags in on the drivers side right before that factory line , that looks messed up! i dont care too much though cause next thing is my cf hood , oh yeah!

Sagging? That's odd. I don't know for sure, but yesterday I noticed up front under the hood there are these rubber bumper looking things that look like their adjustable. Maybe one of those is lower than the other? Post something about it in team tech maybe noresull can help.

We noticed ours a few days after we bought the car, told the dealership and they took care of it right away without any problems.

yes, my driver's side hood is also sagging for some weird reason. the passenger side of the hood is at the right height but not the driver's side. this is very terrible as i now have three problems for my foci:

-crease on hood
-driver's side of hood sagging lower then usual
-and the terrible gas mileage!

hey went to the dealer they said it was not a problem to replace the hood. then they said we noticed you have a little ding in the upper corner of your hood.i said yea its like the size of a tiny pebble (from the bad roads up here)well he said if i didnt have that ding it wouldnt be a problembut since i have that little ding they cant help me!i called ford and they told me that they will send the ford rep to look at it.well i should know next tuesday when he meets me....let you know!

The day I bought mine, FORD took it back for the hood prob.. Now 15,00mi, 4 recalls, multiple visit's it's back. I was told by north county Ford that, "Ford is looking into the complaints". Ya right, 'I guess I closed my hood to hard or something'.

Hmmz....went to dealer....they say that my car is the first they have seen with the crease....they're speculating that I caused the crease....seems like they don't want to fix it....this is really making me upset....
