has any 1 had a problem with there stering wheel locking upp and key not going in all the way any 1 have to get that fixed to be able to drive again

That has never happened to my focus, but it has happened to my mom's 89 taurus a couple of times. We took it to an auto tech and they said:all you had to do was turn the wheel over alittle bit while you are turning the ignition. That's really all that I can tell you, so hope it helps some.

It happened to me in my focus the first time I got in it after I bought it.

actually it is due to the steering wheel lock just wiggle the wheel and turn the key and all is ok.........

yea i tryed all thoes but didnt work well i talked to a repair guy who said it happens a lot and should be a recall
