another check engine light issue
i now have a glorious check engine light
glowing on my dash. now im sure all you are thinking oh my another race header installed
onto a focus..... no no sadly i have not done this as much as i would like to....
the issue is occuring due to my cat back exhust.!!! yes you heard it here my exhust
from the flex pipe back is so effiecent that the "lack" of back pressure is triggering the egr circuit and causing the light to come on.!! according to ford the egr and the
eec V are not able to work properly with this low of back pressure thus causing the CEL and to my amazment the surging and jerking @ 2000 RPM.!!! Im sure this is a first. FORD makes a car designed not to be
upgraded for performance !!!!
as a side note: the exhust is a custom job
usuing a flowmaster 40 series and 2.25 piping!
