Okay... I have a 00 Focus LX with 81k miles on it. I've already replaced the fuel pump through the recall, and that was like, 3k miles ago. It feels like its already screwing up. When the pump was going out it would splutter and die when I was driving, now it just splutters at idle. It don't die, just splutters. Anyone else having this problem?

Make sure they put on the RIGHT fuel pump. I have heard of cases where dealers just blindly put on a fuel pump that is actually the older faulty part.
Seeing that you're at 81K, you might want to start looking at maintenance issues like the spark plugs, fuel filter, air filter, DPFE sensor, etc.

if yyou run it on e for too long, it will throw a cel. ive hd it happen before. says faulty fuel level sensor somethin or other. and can just be reset, and put some gas in before yopu do it. run it on the lioght as little as you can. better for the car overall anyway!

Sounds like your Idle control sensor might be bad. If it is the CEL would indicate that.
Let us know what code it's throwing. Alien-Tek
