Keys STUCK in ignition. - Focaljet

Ok don't know if this is related to the thread below, my key can not be removed from the ignition. I'm worried that this may be a first sign leading to the ignition locking up.

It's not the steering wheel being turned to a side.

Should I simply leave the key in and lock the doors w/ my spare key?

anyone have a cheap fix?

happened to my friend.... who's name also happens to be joe.

ended up getting a tow to the dealer and a ignition cylinder replaced under warranty.

ya that happen to my sister the day after she bought it. The simple fix was to push the shifter to make sure it is all the way to the forward position in park if your car is automatic that is. If its not then I dont know. But try making sure the shifter is pushed as far as it will go.

that has nothing to do with the Key Cylinder locking up. There is a new TSB for this and we ed up replacing the Shift Interlock for the trans. Basically it wont let you remove your key unless you car is all the way in Park. Thats what it is. No need to worry
