Post Strange vibration

I have a 03 XZ5 with 60k miles and a strange vibration coming from what feels and sounds like the passenger side front of the car. It is not related to road speed, engine speed, accelleration, decelleration, turning left or right, but stops when the brakes are applied? The frequency of the vibration (how fast it is) does not change when it appears. Whether you are inching thru the drive through at McyD's or cruising at 40 mph it is the same. It is similar in frequency to engine vibration you typically get at say 3-4000 rpm. But it stops when ever I apply the brakes (at speed or in the drive thru). I have checked the brakes and rotors and they visually appear to be fine and are properly tightened. I do all my own brake and service work and have for years, but this one has me stumped. Any suggestions?
