My horn is no longer working on my 2003 Ford Focus ZTS. Where can I find a replacement? I have looked at my local auto parts stores and they have generic replacements which require me to modify the wiring. I prefer to have one that I do not need to this and can keep the exisiting wiring and just plug it in.
I am considering local salvage yards but I do not want to risk getting one that does not work and have to go through the return process. Any new ones available online that are direct replacements that are not too costly? The only part number that I know is "3M5Z-13832-BA" and it's from the TSB. |

Some local salvage yards ditch parts like the horn because they can't be bothered with the risk and cost of them.
Your best bet if you want the Ford wiring and the updated part is to contact Tousley Ford and mention you're a member of FocalJet, or visit them at www.tousleyfordparts.com -- FocalJet members are priced 10% over cost. Even with shipping and sometimes customs/exise that other members need to pay, it works out a lot cheaper ordering from Tousley Ford. The other (more complex) option is to pick up a generic horn, lop off the current connector off your current horn, and splice it into the replacement generic horn. Then the issue would be how and where to mount the horn.

GapBoyPCS, if that's my only option it seems like it would be better to purchase from my local dealership and save on the shipping and handling.
Has anyone used the A/C delco replacement? Looking a the picture it looks like the wiring would match. Part# E1905E |
