Default power steering

I was involved in an accident back in April and i completely snapped my axle in 2, screwed up the suspention, messed up the power steering, and a bunch of other things. But theres still a problem with the power steering, so I think. If I were to accelerate quickly and then take a turn (whether it be sharp or a wide turn) after maybe like 15 seconds, the power steering whines and it feels slightly stiffer to steer. Me and my dad think its the power steering assist since we had this problem on a previous car. but im not sure and ive taken to get it re-fixed but no one has fixed it. does anyone know what it might be or if it is the power steering assist?

Default Re: power steering

if you have any sort of whining, first off check the level of power steering fluid.

If that's fine, then there can be a chanc your accident did muck up the power steering system.

When you fixed things up the first time around, did you have the steering system inspected? Did the body shop replace your steering system?
