Does this sound right? - Focaljet

ok, so I'm on the highway, and i pay a toll. I decide to see how fast the car is going when you reach the 6100-6500 mark in first gear (the point recommended to shift at when at the strip). So i do it, keeping more of an eye on the tach than on the road. I hit the RPM indicated, i shift, i look at my speedometer and I'm at 35MPH. Is this right? It seems too high to me. But i really dont run my car like that so I am not to informed about it. Oh, and i was not street racing, cause there was no one to race so dont flame me

Yep thats just about where you should be....i think 37 or 38mph is when the limiter kicks in....
