Default tire pressure for drag racing?

What is a good presure to have my tires at? I have stock 15's. Also what does a stock focus run in the 1/4 mile??

I have heard that it is best to run the recommended tire pressure for drag racing. I have seen a few stock ZX3's run in the mid 16's depending on the driver.

Yep the best thing to do is keep your fronts at the recommended pressure and if you want fill the rears up with 5 extra pounds of air.

I went 16.4 at 83mph stock

HNDAETR is correct ....32psi in the front and 36-37psi in the rear

is this true even if you are using drag radials or will you get a benefit from lowering the pressures?

Drag radials can be lowered to as low as 20 psi. Try different pressures to see what works best for you.
