raced a prelude sh / celica gts

and it was all legal guys so dont sweat it. Sursrisingly, i beat the sh by 1.5 car lenghts, i couldnt believe it. He had intake and muffler and a kit. I had all my stuff, you guys probably know by now. He was racing hard cause he chirped second gear. It was a blast, so fun

i also beat a celica gts by just a nose but he had bolt ons and even one of those apex fuel things. I couldnt believe it, we both got a bad launch, lighting our tires up, but at the end, i won. I guess its not as slow as i thought it was. Cant wait for that cam and iceman and throttle body going in by next week, iceman finally comes tomorow i hope

that guy w/ the celica must not have been a good driver because i raced one at the track, GT-S with intake and he went 14.7
nice job though......hope you get your iceman soon, i was in that group buy but decided to get it from Modern Performance instead

You can beat anyone as long as you know your car better than the looser lining up next to you. Its all about when and how to switch gears to get the max out of you car. I smoked this dude on a brand new celica gt. I bet he sold his car and got a Focus.

I race alot and usually if i beat someone and end up talking to them, i always joke around and tell them the next thing they need to do to their car is sell it and buy a focus.....everyone around here respects my focus cuz I beat alot of faster ars because they don't know how to drive....every time i go to the racing spot or moroso, i always have to open the hood for ca couple people to prove to them I don't have nitrous....people just underestimate the car.....I'm glad i saw the potential of car before i got it......the huge aftermarket for the focus helps too

im not sure but I think 15.8-16.0 is more accurate!!! afterall they are 140hp cars and they only weight 2400 lbs!!!

right after i get my cam installed im going up to mountain view to dyno my car, they will also tune the cam gears and stuff. afterwords, im hitting the 1/4, hopefully runing a low 15, high 14. i finally ran my gtech, it said anywhere from 17.4-14.9, my roads around here arent very level or straight, so i donnt know yet, im going out tonight with my gtech, hopefully ill bring home something good
