Default Attention Ghia XR4TI. You dont impress me.

I obviously couldnt help but notice your lovely "gonna mugg your car post" below, so it got me curious as to what illustrious car you may be driving.
You seemed to have been pretty vocal in the "Questions for Aerocharger Jim thread".
Its funny, you belittle the focus owners and trash talk everyone on this forum.
I find it amusing. The Focus is relatively new. so perhaps you can come in and play Mr Big Man with these fella's because they're new to turbocharging or supercharging their cars but dont play Mr Big Man with me.
Looks like alot of these focus guys are in San Antonio area so they can just amble on down to BEGI and chat with Corky Bell himself, buy him a Margarita and he'll chat with you for hours. I am NOT kidding. Corky will chat with you, and give you ideas on what you can do. He's very accessable.

Mr XR4TI,I noticed in your prior thread where you were bragging about beating cars...To Quote you
"I've beat Mustangs (5.0 and 4.6 alike) VR6s, Type Rs, Countless SiVtechs, Supercharged Civics and Neons, A Sentra with a 70shot of NoS, Maximas. Damn near everything short of an M3"

LOL!!! Is that all you've got? I was beating SVT mustangs and even Blown mustangs with a paltry T-25@14psi, stock injectors and stock ECU! you list Type R's and VR6's like they're big game. NOT!.

You also said you race for money? Ok, bring it dont sing it. Invite me up to you and you'll pay my race fee's? Laugh.

Even though I weeded thru your agnozing posts I am still not sure what boost level you're running or what your set up is. It all ran together. At first I gathered no intercooler, then cummings intercooler, which you touted like it was something special. LOL Then you crow about how your air filter element is so big you can stick your fist in it. WHO CARES? WTF? lol

Obviously we wont get into an argument over VVT and aerochargers as I am not fond of aerochargers either, but unlike that 17 page thread where you feel the need to act like you're cheif engineer at honeywell garret you've met your match with me big boy cause I know a bit about turbo's and I'd be glad to put you in your place.

Oh, and I race for money too, and your 40X36X90 intercooler and 4 inch custom flux capacitor, with high flow head doesnt scare me.

Cheers
Jennifer

Starting a post just to put some one down is really weak. Perhaps you know it as a flame. Post something constructive or go away. Oh, and name dropping that you throw back Margaritas with Corky Bell is not constructive. It is pretentious.

Or maybe it's a simple statement of fact. Do you hang with Ghia XR4TI? She's pretty much just responding to him being a jackass.

"Hey "Onefastmiata" take a ride up to NJ. I got a duo of cars that'll take turns mugging you. I'll pay for your track runs at "Raceway Park" in NJ. I'm still holding this invite to any Aero Focus BTW with anything short of NoS. Ya know what, I'll even extend it to any stock Mustang Bullitt too. And I'm still waiting for Jim to tell me when. it's been about 3 weeks now jim.
I think it's only fair Miata. As turbo heads and "focus-bullies" to quote a friend, it's only right. Let me know when you're ready."

Maybe you need a couple drinks, too. Breathe. Relax. There, doesn't that feel better?

Team DFL et al,

Sorry if the post came off harsh, but this fellow came on here and said he would mugg me. Even though it was in reference to my car for some reason the inference of "mugging" put me WAY off yesterday.

I took offense to that. Plain and simple.

Then I was Aol Instant Messaged by a Focaljet member who gave me a link to a 16 page long thread where basically XR4Ti came in and acted like **** of the walk and put down just about everybody/car on the forum and went on and on about forced induction. I find THAT pretentious. If you dont believe me just do a search.

As far as me kicking back and having a margarita with corky. No. I dont live in Texas so my conversations with corky are limited to the telephone. I am not his long lost neice, or best buddy. I simply mentioned that about corky because its true. Corky is always glad to help people with FI problems. You can even go to askcorkybell.com if you dont want to phone him.
I also mentioned corky because his name was "dropped" by someone in here, talking about corky's book maximum boost.
I notice that there's not a whole lot of aftermarket for the focus in the FI department and while I DONT agree with how XR4TI stated his opinions, I do think that folks here would benefit from having different Forced Induction Avenues to follow. I think corky would certainly be invaluable in helping a newbie fabricate turbo headers, source turbo's etc.
I personally eschew the status quo miata turbo's on the market ( though my first system I DID source thru corky)and put together my own one-of kit. I feel confident that the focus gents could do the same and if they need help corky is certainly a source for help. Thats all. Plain and Simple. If you find that pretentious then I would suggest that you're being a bit too sensitive.
As far as me not having an appreciation for XR4TI, sorry, you're not gonna change that.

Cheers
Jenn

Perhaps Rob, but two wrongs don't make a right. And no, racerx,I don't hang with this guy, and from all indications nor would I want to. The fact remains, however, that there is no need to start a post just to point out the rudeness of others. Especially when it is done in a manner just as juvenille and inappropriate as that which it is condemning. Until this thread is about something constructive, I stand by my original post. Can't we all be friends and talk about motorsports again? I was really beginning to enjoy the constructive discourse that had be going on here. Maybe I need to take another sabatical.
