This is obviously a joke. The worlds quickest 1/4 mile time for a piston engine(non-jet car) is a 4.47 @ 331 MPH and was done in a Top Fuel dragster. Funny cars and TF drasters are consistantly running around 4.6 second 1/4 mile times and are doing it with 7,000 HP and 5,000 ft lbs of Torque while weighing in at over 2,300 lbs.(minimum). Don't count on any 4 cyl. car to break into the 4 second range during this century. Try looking at a Pro 5.0 Mustang race car. They run high 6's(1/4) with a 2,800 lbs. (minimum)weight and 1,800 HP.
It is true that some import cars can run 7's(Mazda rotary drag car, Skyline drag car, Supra drag car), none have 4 cyl. engines and none weight over 2,000 lbs. Actually closer to 1,600-1,800 lbs.(import minimum). The Mazda is unique with it's rotary and Nissan uses an inline 6 while Toyota uses a V8.
The only way you would ever see a Focus or any import car running sub 6's 1/4 mile is if they were using Ford, GM, or Chrysler V8. I have seen it before, an 89 CRX with a BB Chevy.
