None of the big cars had winning potential...that was, unless all of the little cars went away

You noticed the flying celica, but did you notice the radiator on the crx? Half of the engine bay is outside of the car...no wonder the hood was off LOL. That car past me on the inside down the straightaway and that intake was pointed straight at me. Extremely loud.
I overheard one of the drivers talking and said they pointed on of their windshield squirters to the side. Although not all that original, funny nonetheless.

That white CRX was one of two cars that went head-on with the wall on the main strait at a decent speed. Obviously the radiator shot was taken after that event. Also, it was noticably faster (strait line) than any other car on the track, at least near the end of the day on Sunday. 10-15+ mph closing speed on the next fastest cars.

It definately was a fast car, but there were some other cars that were pretty fast too. With the correct driver, the black GTI was getting into 4th on the straight. The black bimmer was also pretty fast. They were all faster than me, that is for sure. With some tires, that crx would turn better.

What an awesome even, I've always wanted to do something like this with a beater. I mean if you take a beater on a track day it would never be allowed.
I would like to take part in this next time around hopefully.

A quick bump to the top... incase the FocalJet R/R/Ax crew didn't get a chance to see it.
In summary, NorCal Jetters went genuine W2W racing in a $500 car.

Yeah we discussed it a bit this weekend and we mentioned that we might do it again sometime in the future. I think Nick is just tossing it out there for that eventual possiblity.
Glad you came and took a look Nick. We had a blast. It was great to meet you this weekend.

^^ What are you looking for? A team to join, or people to join your team?
EDIT: Nevermind, just saw your other post. This would be your best bet: http://sports.groups.yahoo.com/group...ec=group&slk=2
