A bit loose in 8 like you said
![]() I think you already know you're like a mile off the apex in 1 and you could pick up a lot of time by turning in earlier in 5. While you have lots of horsepower, you are following a RWD line. Cool vid, but I also agree with the "Needs more spool" comments

Turn 1... Your turn in point looks okay. The curb is brutal as it is very narrow, but you can't really climb over it. You need your front left just next to it. At the "apex" (very late in the corner) there are a bunch of yellow reflectors. Some people run them over, but basically that is where you need to be. It is amazing how much grip is in this corner, especially if you are down low. Once you find that spot, just keep adding speed until the car finds the right side of the track on exit. It is kind of scary, because you can't see the exit.
Turn 5...THE most important corner at WSIR. Turn in earlier. You don't need the RWD line. It will feel like understeer, but there is a lot of track camber right there. It feels like you will push off to the right, but it catches you. I promise you will be able to get to the throttle earlier, and you won't have to slow the car as much as you do for the RWD line (but I wouldn't suggest carrying more speed the first time you try it). Check out this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aXpSt...layer_embedded 2:10 shows FWD vs RWD (silver Pro7 ahead) very clearly, but not fantastic execution by FWD 3:45 is a pretty good example 5:18 is another good example (yeah, I think that's 1:33-1:34 )

i used to get down to those bumps in turn one when i had my r comps, i guess i just dont trust my street tires the same way, i gotta learn how to drive on them better.
i can see what your saying with 5, ill try what your asking, but do take into account jack car in that vid has over 100 less wtq, better suspension and sticker tires, so the poweer on understeer is be considerably less. But I promise i will try for you ill be back at big willlow with STUSA in august

^man, im not blaming anything on the car. thats what ricers do
i admitted that i need to get more seat time with my street tires to get a line around that track as refined as i had on my r comps. I need to learn to drive the car better with the current setup. I need to grow some balls and take turn 1 the way its suppose to be done....AND ill admit another part of the reason i take turn 5 rather safe is because my first ever off was turn 5 at big willow, so I have somewhat of a mental block on taking that turn the way i should as well. More seat time will yield me better results at that track before any mod or change to my setup, i know ![]() btw brad, thanks for helpful input, rather then just saying my vid needs to not have music
