It is going to be sick.
I've lapped Road Atlanta a lot at HPDE and private functions and whatnot, and I'm super excited about racing it on a bike. My only worry: Road Atlanta is a mother****er for hills. Regardless of what direction they run it, there are a TON of hills. Big ones in particular. Hey? I know the course like its the back of my hand though. Pics will follow after the race tomorrow.

It's a short circuit race... 20 miles?
So 2.5 miles... figure 8 laps. My guess, we'd probably cover it in 50-55minutes, depending on how much of a bitch the hills are. Could definitely get lower than 50 if people are doing work instead of looking around to see who to follow.

Race was super fun. I only managed an 8th place because of a few people almost eating **** on the last turn (causing a gap).
The last turn and the run down to the finish line? Very, very fast. I was in the hardest gear my bike had. I didn't have my computer on, but I was probably hitting a tick under 50mph on the run in to the finish.
