I meant to drop a "Hey, that's awesome!" note in here earlier, but I got distracted.

Lots of left lock in those front tires! Looks like an "OOOOPS! I need to *TURN* now moment"! :-)

Actually wasn't too too much lock - just a bit of smoke.

At least he didn't use this picture - you can actually "see" my disappointment with myself.

I'd want a poster-sized print if I were you.
Can you get a copy of the original Full-Size file?

Don't feel bad Ray. Here's turbo2000, Kyle, from this past weekend's NEOKLA autocross:

Full speed into the cones at the finish. He also hit the tall finish light cone, chipping off some of the paint and spiderwebbing the paint around the impact on the front bumper.

was he running your wheels? they look familiar.

i just had a really "off day" that time.

Anyway, check this. one of my autoX buddies just sent it to me, it's of his GTi terrorizing some m3's on track. his car is hilarious at autox, but now he has a JRSC miata that's a blast. the GTi is just too much power.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=26fCD...&feature=email

i'll post a new thread about it later if you want.

Yeah, those are my wheels. Since Sonic is out of commission, Kyle let me co-drive his Focus and we used my wheels/tires. He has 225/50/16 RE01Rs while I have the Kumho XS 215/45/16s. I wanted him to try my tire setup and compare it to what he has used in the past.
