Redline time attack final round, Nov 14-15th, autoclub(california) speedway - The Ford Focus Forum

Hey guys, last round of redline time attack is coming up in a couple weeks, just seeing who's interested in going to watch or drive. their will be a good focus turnout competing, Alan Bowers, Chris stout , and I will all be running in street class fwd, Scott laird will be in modified fwd, and andrew gillis will be in unlimted fwd. Also since it is the final round and year end championships will be decided, their will be a great turnout of some of the fastest time attack cars in the country.

I can't honestly say I've been around T1 & T2 at 140 mph on street tires. If you can manage 130+ with the new aero cuteness, you should be well under 2 minutes

I ran 2:04 with ~140 whp and bald NT01, just a tick behind the Spec Focus cars a couple years ago (I believe SF record is 2:02).

You have no idea how much I want to be out there...wrenching and making cars faster

alright alright, maybe 1:55 is a good goal, ill see what i can do

I lied...I might have driven a 2:05, not a 2:04. I do know I beat the TTF record by well over 3 seconds. Unfortunately Mike and Greg wouldn't give me my TT license yet.

Sorry Guys,

Due to the budget being spent I will not be there. Started working towards next year, it is a long haul to all the track in So-cal and NV and all a lot of the budget when to hauling ad hotels( I need a motor home) Good luck to all the other focus guy give them hell.

Thats cool - its helps so much having some help and second opinions. I should be there, although not driving unless someone allows me a few laps

Chris should be there- he is trying to get the head gasket issue handled but the head is slightly warped as well. Bring band aids

Ya I talked to Chris about that,.,...that is a weird one...

The plan is to run 2 cars in street, 2 cars in modified and 1 in unlimited....all will be supercharged with our new Rotrex Supercharger...

There are only two people running for points...the rest are not..I am not for sure..we are using it more for exposure and more track time...this will also allow our sponsors to come out and enjoy a weekend.

We will have Focus, Mazda 3 and 6 and a Fiesta as well that will run in stock...

But ya it will be fun to run against other Foci...
