Ok, got a question....what happens if you put a lightened flywheel weight on front of an auto? Haven't ever heard of it, but I want to know why, exactly. I assume the mass of a stockflywheel and covertor are required to keep the fluid trucking properly?

If you weigh the rotating internals and the torque converter of the 4F27E , you will be surprised at the total weight (I am not even talking about the gears, just the clutch and drum assemblys). Also trying to removing a few pounds of rotating mass does almost nothing for throttle response, there is just too much spinning weight which is seen when you dyno an automatic.
